Dr. Choi discovered her calling for dentistry during her undergraduate studies after shadowing a mentor who demonstrated the profound impact of patient relationships on oral health outcomes. After completing her undergraduate degree cum laude in just three and a half years, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Her career began in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she developed a strong foundation in pediatric dentistry. This experience revealed her natural ability to connect with young patients and help them build positive associations with dental care. After relocating to the Atlanta area to be closer to her family, she worked as an associate in a large practice, gaining valuable clinical experience and treating a wide range of patients. While she appreciated the structure of a larger organization, she found herself drawn to a more personal style of care, one that allowed her to build genuine, long-term relationships with patients and their families.
At Johns Creek Dental Associates, Dr. Choi found an environment that aligned with what she values most: building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families. Today, she continues to expand her clinical expertise through advanced training in facial esthetics, digital smile design, aesthetic rehabilitation, dental implantology and orthodontics. Outside of the office, Dr. Choi is a devoted mom to her son, Noah, and a pet parent to two cats.
